Die Qualitätsoff ensive Lehrerbildung als bundesweite Initiative unterstützt seit 2016 an gut 50 Standorten Entwicklungsvorhaben in der Lehrerbildung mit 500 Millionen Euro über einen Zeitraum von zehn Jahren (BMBF, 2018). Ein zentrales Anliegen vieler Projekte innerhalb der Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung ist, Studierendestärker als bisher auf Fragen von Heterogenität zu professionalisieren.
