CRC 1009 A06 - Formly peptide chemoattractant receptors in leukocyte activation and transendothelial migraton

Basic data for this project

Type of projectSubproject in DFG-joint project hosted at University of Münster
Duration at the University of Münster01/07/2016 - 30/06/2020 | 2nd Funding period

Description

Leukocyte extravasation is subject to tight control and requires a delicate balance between pro- and anti-inflammatory signals for the correct initiation and termination of leukocyte activation and migration. In this project, we identify and characterize endogenous factors that control the extent of inflammatory leukocyte activation. A focus is on the anti-inflammatory protein Annexin A1 and its receptors of the formyl peptide receptor (FPR) family.
