Description

Die Extravasation von Leukozyten ist zentrales Element lokaler Entzündungsreaktionen. Sie unterliegt einer strikten Kontrolle, um die korrekte Initiation und Termination der eigentlichen Leukozytenaktivierung und -migration sicher zu stellen. Formylpeptidrezeptoren (FPRs) übernehmen wichtige Funktionen bei dieser Kontrolle, da sie sowohl pro- als auch anti-inflammatorische Leukozytenaktivierung vermitteln können. Die molekularen Grundlagen dieser FPR Funktionen sollen im Projekt ermittelt werden.
