Description
Die Einrichtung des Forschungs-Lab mit dem Namen „Flow Factory“ widmet sich der Erforschung von KI mit Blick auf die Transformation und Innovation von Prozessen in der Finanzwirtschaft und wird ihre Arbeit sofort aufnehmen. Die „Flow Factory“ ist am European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik angesiedelt und soll kreativen Raum für Studierende, Dozent:innen und Praktiker:innen gleichermaßen bieten, die sich der Suche nach Prozessverbesserungen und -innovationen in der Finanzwelt widmen, und dabei innovative digitale Technologien nutzen, insbesondere KI. Ziel ist es, durch diese enge Zusammenarbeit praxisorientierte Lösungen zu finden. Gleichzeitig erhalten Studierende wertvolle Einblicke in die Finanzwirtschaft, indem sie über Projekte sowie auch Bachelor-, Masterarbeiten und Promotionen mit direktem Bezug zur Praxis an der Arbeit an der „Flow Factory“ mitwirken. Alle Beteiligten arbeiten – unter Wahrung der Freiheit von Forschung und Lehre – in einem Governance Board zusammen, das die grundsätzliche Ausrichtung der neuen Forschungseinrichtung steuert.
