Aufgabe des Instituts für Biometrie und Klinische Forschung ist die Entwicklung neuer methodischer Werkzeuge, die der medizinischen Forschung dienen. Das Institut kooperiert mit Kliniken und Einrichtungen der Medizinischen Fakultät der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster und vermittelt biometrische Grundlagen und Spezialwissen.
