Research article (journal) | Peer reviewedUsing the example of the Forschungsmonitor Schule, the preparation process of school-related research findings for practical use to support the transfer of knowledge is exploratively analysed. The corpus of material consists of eight original studies and eight associated so-called reviews, which are considered in relation to measures of preparation using the differentiation of ›translation modes‹ and ›translation rules‹ from the translation approach of organisational theory. This adaptation and the analysis based on it enables a first systematic and structured approach to the question of how research results are processed in preparation for the transfer of knowledge into school practice.
