Project Z5 provides all tracers established for human use within the Collaborative Research Centre 656 to the projects and supports the development of all tracers for clinical applications. The main tasks of this project include the reproduction of already synthesised and established intermediate and precursor compounds that are needed in the 2nd SFB 656 funding period. Furthermore, the GMP-conform syntheses of all promising candidate tracers for first-in-man clinical applications and the central in vitro screening of all new and modified compounds for their biological activity using in vitro assays are included.
