Description

In modern mathematics new developments of geometric nature have recently been established in different areas (operator theory, topology, algebraic geometry, ...). These general methods like K-theory and homology and overlapping open problems like the conjectures of Novikov, Farrell-Jones and Baum-Connes shall be investigated in the research training group. New results and techniques from C*-algebras, topology and arithmetic geometry, shall be used and combined.
