Beschreibung

Experience is what you gain in the course of long years of life and working. Experience is added value. Nevertheless, in large parts of Europe a steadily increasing number of older working-age people find themselves unemployed for various reasons. Moreover, the numbers of job seekers aged 50+ are most likely to increase even further as the beginning of the retirement age is continuously raised. Although there is a growing demand for experienced and reliable employees employers are quite often unwilling to give a job to a person over the age of 50. This is where the project comes in. Objectives: The main objective of this partnership is to exchange experiences and information on how to better (re)integrate disadvantaged people aged 50+ into the labour market. EOS aims to find and define best and innovative methods of education and training for those who are unemployed due to age, health problems, low qualification and/ or further disadvantages like long-term unemployment. Moreover, EOS seeks to reduce age discrimination by raising awareness of older people's talents and potential among employers. Projekthomepage unter http://eos.mixxt.eu/ abrufbar.
