Abstract
We investigated the current status of digital competencies in PE teacher educators as well as their efforts to pass on these digital competencies in university lectures, seminars and practical sport courses. The aim of our study was to identify needs for further qualification of lecturers as well as for further development of the curricula in teacher education.Keywords: PE teacher education, digitalization, digitial literacy, professional development
