Abstract

Maturity models are helpful tools to assess the current state of a company's supply chain regarding its degree of digital transformation. However, only a few models for this research area are identified in the literature, and methodological weaknesses become apparent. Especially the evaluation of the models' components is often neglected. Therefore, we contribute with a structured literature review resulting in an up-to-date overview and critical analysis of different evaluation strategies for digital supply chain maturity models. Finally, this paper contributes with a structured discussion of methods for evaluating maturity models, thus paving the way for higher quality research.
