Research article (journal) | Peer reviewedMatrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry imaging with laser-induced postionization (MALDI-2-MSI) has proven a powerful tool for the in situ analysis of N-linked glycosylation, or N-glycans, directly from clinical tissue samples. Here we describe a sample preparation protocol for the analysis of N-glycans from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
