Investigation on Optical Parametric Oscillators Based on Different Silicon Nitride Waveguide Geometries

Abstract

We present synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillators using silicon nitride waveguides of different geometries, showing a significantly improved output energy of 255 pJ and conversion efficiency of 17 % while achieving 176 nm wavelength tunability at around 1.15 μm.
