Optical Parametric Oscillator Based on Silicon Nitride Waveguides

Abstract

We demonstrate a synchronously pumped Si3N4 waveguide-based optical parametric oscillator, achieving a tuning range of 95 nm around 1.1µm, up to 69 pJ on-chip output energy with an external conversion efficiency of -12.45 dB.
