Abstract in digital collection (conference) | Peer reviewedWe will present our easy-to-use learning suite (i) that supports hands-on experience through physical computing, (ii) uses an easy-to-use visual programming interface, and (iii) relates to authentic real-world applications in environmental education and citizen science. The learning suite connects our DIY-hardware based measurement toolkit "senseBox" with a graphical programming environment and our open platform for environmental data "openSenseMap" to facilitate computational-, data-, and scientific literacy.
