These multiperiodic structures have become an interesting field of research since exciting effects of light propagation in the linear as well as in the nonlinear regime like superlattice solitons [1] and photonic analogies of Zitterbewegung as well as Klein tunnelling have been predicted theoretically [2]. © 2011 IEEE.
