Abstract

In this contribution, we introduce a promising method to optically induce complex photonic superlattices. These multiperiodic structures have become an interesting field of research since exciting effects of light propagation in the linear as well as in the nonlinear regime like superlattice solitons [1] and photonic analogies of Zitterbewegung as well as Klein tunnelling have been predicted theoretically [2]. © 2011 IEEE.
