Abstract

People with Down Syndrome (DS) have physical, motor and cognitive peculiar disabilities (1). The virtual reality can be a possibility of motor learning for them, as a practice of activities which one enables experimenting new tasks, as well to improve cognitive and physical capacities to quality of life. A current option of physical activity is the uses of advances electronic consoles, been already used as an intervention in the recovery and development in diverse populations with motor and sensory alterations (2). Therefore, the aim of the study was to verify the occurrence of motor learning on virtual reality in DS students.
