Abstract

The exploration of scrap alloy compositions to discover new high-performance metals presents a significant challenge due to the large search space of chemical compositions and multi-objective material properties. We present an interactive visual analysis tool that allows for a comprehensive exploration of all facets of the data. We employ multivariate data visualization methods in coordinated views for overviews, detailed exploration, and comparison. A level-of-detail control allows for interactive sessions.
