Description

In the center of the project are those 12 women who, as first women, obtained their doctorate or their license in Catholic Theology at Muenster faculty. On the base of interviews with them their biography will be presented. Besides this, the developments at the Muensteran faculty after the Second Weorld War leading to new regulations who allowed lay people, hence women, to obtain academic degrees, will be shown. A further line of research will focus on the traces of women in catholic theology at Muenster University since the end of the 19th century.
