Description
The GeoChange research symposium is the second cooperative workshop organized by the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and the Institute for Geoinformatics (ifgi), University of Münster. The goals of the GeoChange symposium are to discuss and initiate solutions to modeling environmental change. The symposium on GIScience for Environmental Change is supported by the Brazilian-German Scientific Year (http://www.dbwti.de) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany (http://www.bmbf.de). It was held on November 27, 2010 at Campos do Jordão (São Paulo), Brazil.
