The goal of this project is to provide interactive visualization techniques for the visual analysis of cardiovascular structures and processes. We especially focus on quantitative aspects, which can be supported by incorporating linked multi-view setups. In this context, we will develop techniques for the fused visualization of the myocardium as well as the cardiovascular system. In order to enable an interactive exploration of the interdependencies between calcification of vessels and blood supply of the myocardium, interactive visual analysis techniques will be exploited.To achieve these goals, we will extend the Voreen visualization framework to support a generic and easy-to-use setup for linked multi-view applications as well as to incorporate quantification.
