Description

AVIGLE envisions a swarm of flying robots, equipped with 3D-cameras,which are taking high resolution pictures of a region from different perspectives. This data is submitted to an evaluation system via a high performance communication network where a 3D virtual world is created in quasi real time. This model can support architects and city planner but also rescue personnel at civil protection organizations with their work. 3D-Virtual Reality The 3D modeling of reality based worlds, such as for example a pedestrian area, is currently in larger parts performed manually and therefore very time- and cost intensive. Due to the highly precise capturing and the automated processing from raw data to more dimensional virtual realities AVIGLE offers a cost-efficient way to an area-wide 3D virtualization in quasi real time.
