Description
The "EU - China Information Society Project" was mutually initiated by Chinese government and the European Union. The project began in 2005 and was carried out in the course of the technical cooperation between China and the EU. The ITM public-law department worked on this project together with the China Academy of Telecommunication Research (CATR) of the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry (MII). The ITM supported the Chinese colleagues answering questions about the opening and regulation of the national telecommunication market. Amongst others numerous workshops for experts took place in China and Germany.
