Description

Philo's treatise "On the Life of Moses" (De Vita Mosis), which is a key to our understanding of Philo, will be re-edited, introduced, translated, and commented upon by an international and interdisciplinary team of scholars led by Professor René Bloch, University of Berne. Having received funding by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF, SNF), the project of commentary writing is currently being completed.
