Description
The European Federation for Freshwater Sciences (EFFS) assembles every two years more than 500 people from approximately forty countries from Europe and other continents: researchers, professionals and other stakeholders from Universities, research laboratories, private institutions, as well as national and regional administrations. This symposium aims to integrate and communicate scientific and technological advancement in the field of freshwater sciences, to promote innovative solutions for the sustainable management of waterbodies (lakes, marshes and ponds), running waters (streams, rivers) and their watersheds, in response to the growing pressures on the environment.
