Im Rahmen dieses Projekts sollen Magnesium-Schwefel-Batterien tiefer gehend verstanden und weiterentwickelt werden. Der Schwerpunkt des Projekts liegt auf grundlegenden Arbeiten zu den Zellkomponenten Anode, Elektrolyt und Kathode in Magnesium-Schwefel-Batterien.
