Description
Our project is concerned with the automatic continuity of abstract group homomorphisms between topological groups. In previous work, we studied this question for homomorphism between topological groups and Lie groups. In the present project we investigate this problem for certain groups of automorphisms of right-angled buildings. The groups in question are locally compact and totally disconnected.
