Today, the diversity of religions in Europe is sometimes perceived as a problem. However, bringing religions together and creating more understanding offers much more than simply an answer to the challenge. Such efforts on scientific grounds had been supported in previous years, but much more efficiency and excellency are necessary. The EU-funded RESILIENCE project will create the European Research Infrastructure on Religious Studies. It will be based on an excellent partnership and offer innovative tools to attract and serve academic and non-academic communities. It aims to bring together religious resources and offer competences to strengthen the positive perception of religious plurality in Europe and preserve the leading European position in the field of religious studies.
