Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Anästhesiologie und Intensivmedizin e.V. (DGAI) verleiht anlässlich ihres jährlich stattfindenden internationalen Kongresses den von der Dräger Medical AG & Co. KGaA, Lübeck gestifteten Heinrich-Dräger-Preis für Intensivmedizinin Höhe von 2.500 Euro an Mitglieder der DGAI für bedeutsame wissenschaftliche Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Intensivmedizin.
