About the award

The Clinical Scholar Research Awards (CSRA) are intended to support clinical investigations that will further the understanding of clinical practice in anesthesiology and related sciences. Up to four research projects involving human subjects, in vivo or in vitro, are selected annually to receive a maximum of $80,000 each. Since its origination in 1994, the CSRA has funded over 60 clinical research projects from around the world. Prior recipients include investigators from the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Israel, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.
