About the award

The American Marketing Association's Innovation, Technology and Interactivity Special Interest Group ("TechSIG") is pleased to announce that the Lazaridis Institute will award an annual prize of $1,500 USD and a related plaque for the "Best Paper for Research on the Practice of Marketing as it relates to Innovation, Technology and Interactivity, sponsored by the Lazaridis Institute for the Management of Technology Enterprises". Informally, the prize is known as the AMA TechSIG Lazaridis Prize and is announced annually at the AMA Summer Educators Conference. The AMA TechSIG Lazaridis Prize is awarded to the paper published in the preceding year that best, in the interpretation of the Prize Committee, addresses issues relevant to the practice of marketing as it relates to innovation, technology and interactivity. Nominations are sought from the AMA community; nominators may forward one journal article that was published the preceding year.
