The Young Investigator Award acknowledges excellence in research and stimulates further work at a top scientific level. The ESCMID Scientific Affairs Officer will present the award at ECCMID 2023. ESCMID accepts only self-nominations for the award. Your research is be based on laboratory investigations, clinical trials/studies, animal studies, or a combination thereof. You have a valid ESCMID membership If you are PhD you must be no longer than eight years* post-graduation If you are MD or MD/PhD you must be no longer that five years* from completion of clinical training.
