The aim of the Quantum Futur competition for young scientists is to establish sustainable research structures. This should enable outstanding young scientists to advance the transition of findings from basic research into new technological and economic applications. The measure offers young scientists the best possible starting conditions and framework for successful scientific work. The aim is to attract internationally educated top talent to Germany as a center of research and industry in order to contribute to Germany's long-term competitiveness. In particular, the program is aimed at internationally oriented researchers with experience of a longer period of successful study or research abroad.
