About the award

The EABS Student Prize is an annual award presented to doctoral and/ or master’s students in recognition of their academic excellence in Biblical Studies or related fields. To enter the competition, one must be an EABS member in good standing and a doctoral or master’s student at the time of submitting their paper. Applicants are also required to present their papers in any of the sessions of the EABS Annual Conference of the year of the competition.Typically, the award is given to two papers, one in Hebrew Bible (and cognate areas), and another in New Testament (and cognate areas).
