Saïd Unger studied sociology and history in Jena before finishing his master degree in sociology and social research at the University of Bremen.
2019-2021: Assistant researcher in the BMBF funded project "Aufbruch, Abbruch oder Durchbruch? Einflussfaktoren auf wissenschaftliche Karriereverläufe in den Natur- und Sozialwissenschaften (ABD)" at the University of Stuttgart.
2021-2025: Assistant researcher in the BMBF funded project "HybriD - Echtzeiterkennung von Desinformationskampagnen in Online-Medien" in the Team of Prof. Dr. Thorsten Quandt.
From 2026: Assistant researcher in the ERC funded project "DANCE – Dark Nerd Communities: A multi-method exploration of toxic degradation in the adolescent technosphere" in the Team of Prof. Dr. Thorsten Quandt.
