Curriculum Vitae (CV)

• Simeon is a Managing Director of the Competence Centre for Smarter Work (www.smarter-work.de), and Lead of the Communication & Collaboration subject group.
• Simeon's research (teaching & consulting) interests are in the area of ​​critical technology and organization studies.
• Before joining Muenster University, Simeon was a Marie Curie post-doctoral fellow at LaSalle, Barcelona.
• Prior to this, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and an AdAstra Scholar at the Center for Innovation, Technology & Organization (CITO), University College Dublin, Ireland.
• During this period, Simeon was an active member and an organizer of the Quadrangular Network between University College Dublin, Cambridge University, Lancaster University and London School of Economics.
• Simeon's work follows an empirically grounded, qualitative approach, and is predominantly informed by phenomenological and praxeological sensibilities.
• His work is broadly concerned with the (intra) relationship between technology and organizational processes, including:
• - Critical IS and Organization Studies
• - Role of affectivity and embodiment in the process of learning and knowledge production
• - Virtual and distributed forms of working and organizing
• - Collaborative practices in complex network arrangements
• - ICT-enabled change in organizations and broader societal implications
• - Critical approaches to project management, and its performativity and politics
